4 tank confusion on our 4006

So on my Cyclone there is a gray and black gate valve toward the front, and a gray and black gate valve toward the back.

Dealer said the front gray tank takes care of the main bathroom only. He said the rear gray takes care of the kitchen, washer, and 1/2 bath.

Either he was partially right or didn’t go far enough with his explanation. What I discovered today was if I pull the front gray gate valve handle it dumps water from the main bathroom only. I have to pull the rear gray gate valve handle to dump the kitchen. However, the main bathroom and the kitchen all will drain out of the front sewer discharge.

I’m guessing the washer and 1/2 bath will also dump from the front sewer discharge even though they are controlled by the rear gray gate valve. I will investigate further when I get my washer hooked up and going but I suspect the only thing that discharges from the rear sewer outlet is the 1/2 bath black water.

Are there any 4006 model owners out there who can confirm this?

My guess would be that all of what you suggested is the way it is. The front gray will fill up fast so you don’t want much more on it.

On my Cyclone, it’s similar but my kitchen gray valve is up front and the rear valve drains the rear black which is also the rear bath sink.

The advantage is that if you have a short stopover and don’t use the rear 1/2 bath black tank, you can drain all your tanks without having to hook up a rear discharge hose.

Probably a 4006 owner will verify.

FL-Joe I have a Torque 327 with rear 1/2 bath & washer drain & this is what I learned. The front grey tank is the main bathroom shower & sink; front black tank is the main toilet. The rear grey tank is the kitchen sink, 1/2 bath sink & washer drain. ALL 3 tanks connect to the front dump valve/outlet. The rear black tank is the half bath toilet in the garage & this tank has it's own discharge dump behind the axles. Even though the rear grey tank valve is in the same compartment as the rear black tank valve; the rear grey discharges out of the front dump. Hope this helps.

The advantage is that if you have a short stopover and don’t use the rear 1/2 bath black tank, you can drain all your tanks without having to hook up a rear discharge.

‘That’s how our CY3800 is plumbed, front black for the main toilet, front gray for main tub, sink and washer discharge which is in the front closet, rear gray for kitchen and rear black for the 1/2 bath which includes the toilet and sink. We rarely have to hook up to the rear discharge since it is often just us. Periodically whether it has been used or not I’ll fill it and dump it.

This is identical to how my Cyclone 4115 works. If we don't use the read toilet, we don't have to hook up a hose to the back discharge. Makes things much easier when the rear toilet isn't used.

I will confirm that is correct on mine in the next couple days as I start my w/d install. Flick makes a good point about one night traveling stops and only needing to use one sewer connection. Actually a good design.

Yep 100% correct! New 4006 here confirming what @Dahillbilly reported. It's goofy a bit goofy but yep thats it.
It took me and my boys two dumps to figure it all out

My 2020 4005 has separate gray and black pulls
gray and black for front
gray and black for rear, I do t think my grays are joined

How many dump connections do you have? If you have a front and rear dump connection should be plumbed as mentioned above. Otherwise not sure what you have.
