Appliance serial numbers

When the factory installs the appliances (refrig, furnace, etc) do they write down the serial numbers and model numbers. I have been trying to fill out all of the warranty paperwork and I cant get to the furnance or vaccum or microwave serial numbers.

If you dont a suggestion is to create a sheet that can be left in the coach to show all model and serial numbers.
