Just took our brand new 2017 Heartland Big Country on a cross country trip we were extremely excited to make with some great friends. You can imagine how unhappy we were when we arrived and both Dometic CC 2 air conditioning units would not work. Luckily we were able to locate a local repairman who would come to our location on a Saturday and have the parts needed to make the repair. We had to spend $450 to have the repairs made on a brand new HL not to mention spend hours in the 95+ degree heat with no air and countless hours of vacation time lost waiting on the repairman over two different days. Also, not to mention we had the RV in the shop at the dealership the week before leaving for our trip because of a recall on the Dometic and we told them we had noticed a problem with the AC and for them to make sure it was working properly because we were leaving for our trip. Obviously they didn't check it out and make sure it was working. This issue has been escalated to HL Regional Management.
Then we had the bottom of 3 drawers in the kitchen and pantry fall out with very little weight in each one. All of the drawers appear to be barely stapled together and would hold barely more than a loaf of bread and maybe a bag of chips. Suggestions for correcting this situation?
