Historically, only one thermostat controls the furnace. Could be the bedroom. But recently someone reported that their new toy hauler had been wired from the factory so that either of two thermostats would operate the furnace.
Zoning requires multiple sensors to read ambient temperature in multiple locations. Although the thermostat may support zoning, I haven't heard of Heartland installing additional sensors and running wire to the thermostat(s) from additional sensors. Btw, it always seemed easier to me to walk a few steps to the other thermostat rather than navigate the zoning on the thermostat.
