Bedroom Thermostat

My heater in the bedroom won't kick on. The a/c works, but the heat won't work. I replaced the thermostat itself with a brand new one but I have the same problem.

If you have 2 thermostats, one in the main living area, and one in the bedroom, the heater is more than likely controlled by the thermostat in the main area.

However, not knowing what RV you have, it's hard to help diagnose the problem.

If you are refering to the heat pump in the air conditioner, it is most likely to cold outside for it to work. Like said above, the furnace is controlled by the main area thermostat. There isn't a seperate furnace for the bedroom area.

Could it be your AC unit in bedroom is not a heat pump and just an AC unit?
