Best Route From El Paso TX to Monument Valley UT

We are planning a trip in June from El Paso to Monument Valley. I-25N out of El Paso to I-40W in Albuquerque. 491N in Gallup to 264W. Pick up 191N in Burnside to 59 out of Many Farms. 59 runs into 160. Take 160W to Kayenta then 163N to Monument Valley.

Is this the best route or are there better routes to take?

Consider that any route you take on backroads on the Rez will be mostly two lane with no shoulders. If you have a problem there is no place to pull off. On top of that gas stations are far apart and gas can be expensive at those small stations. It is best to stick to well traveled roads. I40 to Flagstaff and 89 to the Kayenta turn off.
