Alex at the 3G Store...where are you?
We just purchased the MIFI, it will connect 5 wireless at once and is it ever fast. If you want to be real secure just plug it into your computer. I'm sure Alex can and will answer all questions. I forgot to say that you don't need all that other stuff to connect the computers, just as long as they are wireless. The MIFI is about the size of a credit card just set it on the desk and start working.
too early to tell if sprint's new overdrive is any good. i'll let you know.Alex. I have been watching the adds on TV and Sprint is talking about a 4G modem. Is it any good and is Verizon going to start going to it also?
Can I get a 4G modem with Sprint without changing my present contract with Sprint?
verizon's "global support" modems are _only_ for those people who want one device that works primarily in the united states, but allows for (expensive) international use. Thanks for the comments....
Alex, is there any advantage to have modems that support Global Access? Unfortunately all that do support global at Verizon are not Mac compatible.
If we were only using this in the BH I would strongly consider the MIFI, but since we want to put it in our house I don't think the MIFI has the range, what kind of range have people experienced?
