Bighorn - bike rack on 2006 Bighorn M-3400RL

I have a 2006 Bighorn M-3400RL and would like to attach a bike rack for a single bike to the rear end. Do you sell a receiver than can be installed to the frame of this 5th wheel? If so, can you provide specs, price, and shipping information or, alternatively, directions on how to install a custom receiver that I can have made and installed here in Spokane WA.
Thanks

Re: ATF: Bighorn - bike rack on 2006 Bighorn M-3400RL

Hi BobandJan1,

Welcome to the posting side of the Heartland Owners Forum.

I would suggest you call Heartland customer service, 877-262-8032, and have your VIN handy when you call. You need info from parts and they do not monitor the forum. Others have had a hitch installed by welder or even bought a universal that is available from several different locations.

I'm sure some of our other members will jump in with some suggestions also.

I am moving the thread to a better area also.

The 2006 Bighorn did not come with an of factory adding a receiver for a hitch. As such, parts will not be stocked for this. Most people would go to a welder/fabricator with the bike rack of their choice and that welder/fabricator would design, fabricate and install the receiver system for them. Cost is generally in the $300 to $500 range.
