Camping in Crystal River FLA. Area

We would like some recommendations on good campgrounds around the Crystal River area in FLA. We plan on staying for most of the month Nov. Thanks for any info we can get.

I would recommend Rock Crusher Canyon. http://www.rockcrushercanyon.com/ We've been to most of the parks in that area and this one met our needs/desires the most. The staff and managers are all very friendly and helpful. They have a screened in pool area at the clubhouse. If you decide on this park be sure to ask for a site up the hill. There is a new bath house/laundry facility and much less traffic.

If you like a cleaner camp, Nature Coast Landing would be a good choice. http://naturecoastlandings.com/ The sites are really nice and spacious. The only drawback there is the bugs tend to keep you indoors, especially the no-see-ums.

Just north of Crystal River about 7 miles or so there is Lake Rouseau Fishing and RV Campground. We stayed there for about 4 mos. Very nice staff, reasonable rates and great fishing. Some activities in the park also such as Bingo, cards, outside games, potlucks outings etc. Unless rates change your looking at $475.00 per mo. plus electricity. Any more info needed please ask.

We are going back for the winter this year it appears.
