As we know Carrier Rv AC is out of business along with its support team. The remote control digital thermostat still operates the AC but the furnance sending unit has failed. Heartland tech advised me to bypass the remote for the furnace and install a analog thermostat for the furnance operation. They said that the sending unit for the Carrrier AC and furnace (Surburban) are not compatiable with other brands of digital thermostats like Dometic, Duo Therm etc. Any advice out there from anyone who has suffered the loss of their Carrier remote.
