Ceiling fan is Dead ?

I have a 2010 Sundance 3300rcb. The ceiling fan has stopped working today, no light or fan. I checked the switch and it has no power going to it. I then checked the breakers and looked at the wires going to them and all looks good. It would seem a wire has come lose somewhere, any ideas besides going to the dealer?? That will be a last resort.

1 - Not sure which breaker it is on.

2 - If I had the wireing diagram , or maybe just tell me where the wire is hooked in and what breaker, I could trace it down.

Thanks for the info.

This has been on the electical forum and no replays, so I thought I would ask the factory.

Thanks

Dan

Dan,

If it were me I would start by making sure I have power to the coach and the other 110 appliances are working (If they are then power is getting to the breaker panel) . Next I would make sure none of the breakers are tripped (if one is it will be out of line with the others) next using a tester I would check to see If I have power to the switch (At the point of contact) and then checking to make sure it gets to the other side of the switch. If I'm not getting power to the switch I'd be checking the breaker to make sure it's not defective. If the panel is not labeled process of elimination should locate the breaker. If I'm getting power past the switch, I'm checking the leads to the Fan. If I find the problem is a tripped breaker and the problem continues I would be concerned about a faulty wire. This is based on household 110 wiring and I'm guessing it would be the same in the RV. I'm new to RVing and I know there is a power converter but still if the other 110 outlets are working I would think it takes that out of play. I hope this helps. Good Luck

It could also be possible that the ceiling fan shares a circuit that is on a GFI. Just for the heck of it, I would press the TEST and RESET on all the GFI's first to see if that could be the problem.

Good luck,
John
