Centerpoint not accepting air

Hi All,

I went to air up my center point air bags on the coach and neither side is taking air. I've never had this happen in the 4 years I've had this system so I don't know what to do. I'm leaving on Tuesday for our 1200 mile journey to Fl. and I need to get air in those bags. Can I get a little help on what to do ?? Thank you, Bobby A

I'm no expert, but could it be a pump issue? Try a different air pump?

Well Erika and Tony you hit the nail on the head. I was using a new air compressor, so I reverted back to my old one and sure enough it accepted air in the bags. I can't understand it cause I just got done filling my G614's to 110PSI and then went to the centerpoint bags and it wouldn't take 60PSI. If someone can help me understand this I would appreciate it. At least I got air in the bags so I'm good to go.
Thanks,
Bobby A

Did you try changing the air chuck you are using?

Can you look at the valve stem of the center point and see the valve core? Some valve stems have cores that sit just a little deeper in the stem and then some cheap air chucks just don't work.
With some of the cheaper air chucks (think HF stuff) the pin that depresses the valve core falls over in the chuck and never hits the core pin.

I think Duane hit the nail on the head. You could also try lowering the air pressure on the regulator to about 70 psi and see if it works.
