Does anyone have a phone number or email to someone higher up at heartland than the people you get when you call the generic number? We've been going back and forth on our camper roof with them since November. Yesterday we asked for the ladies supervisor and she refused to transfer us or give us any contact. She said it's not necessary...
What's going on:
We purchased this TT in April. The roof had a bunch of waves and bubbles in it. The dealer said they've never seen anything like it. Heartland says to just stretch the roof and put glue under it. When the dealer took the transition strips off they noticed on the passenger side a metal piece was installed improperly and poking holes in the rubber roof. Dealer wants to put a new roof on. Heartland says just stretch it and where those holes are will be cut off after the stretch. Dealer says they aren't very comfortable with doing this, they don't think it's the right way. Heartland claims they do this all the time (also acknowledge this is a manufacturers defect).
I'm personally worried about how you can stretch a roof that already has holes cut for the air conditioner, vents, ECT. Won't this cause those holes to be larger and give more opportunity for water to get in? Heartland says they will just put more lap sealant on it. To me that sounds like a backyard mechanic rig job.
So if anyone possibly has or knows a way to get a hold of someone different than the first level customer support would be great. I also have never heard of a customer support telling a customer they can't speak to someone hirer up the food chain.
