Counter Damage (scratched) - how to repair?

Happy Thanksgiving! While preparing my contribution for the dinner in our park, I moved my crock pot insert across my counter top several times and now have scratches in my beautiful counter top. The bottom of the crock was rough, though not enough that I thought it would do damage. I keep sharp and hot items away from the surface, but I had no idea it would scratch so easily.
WHAT TO DO? I hesitate to follow DIY suggestions for Corian because I know this isn't true Corian. Nothing in the owners manual. Please help! I will be most thankful!
