Dallas, TX to Big Bend National Park

Late this month we're planning a trip from Dallas to Big Bend NP. We plan to travel caravan style with some RV'ing friends. Suggestions for routing, camping locations, things to see, and any other tips/suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I've thought about it, but haven't done it. My plan was/is to overnight in Seminole Canyon State Park coming from Houston. After that I dunno. Can't decide if I want to drag the Oshkosh or travel light with the Bigfoot cabover. I've been in the area and wasn't impressed, but everyone oohs and aahs over it...

Get on I10 from Houston or I20 from Dallas and head west. Plenty of places to pull off and rest a while. I always drove straight thru.
