I'm very fortunate to have my mechanic son install a DC to DC charging system in my Landmark. The system will allow me to provide up to 50 amps of power from my vehicle via a separate cable that runs parallel to the normal RV connection. The MPPT charge controller will also allow future addition of solar power. But for now, I have lots of power from my tow vehicle (2018 RAM with double alternators, 440 amps) so that I can charge my batteries and run my 120v refrigerator. The first part of the job was to clearn up the factory wiring (what a mess! - see picture), then installing the MPPT DC to DC charge controller. Also installed was the BT2 bluetooth transmitter so that I can monitor the system remotely (see picture 2 for the after).
