11:00 Leave for 30 min drive to Itasca State Park. Car pool if you would like – every vehicle will need to purchase a state park pass for $7. Plan to bring your lunch and we can picnic in the park or there is the Headwaters Cafeteria in the Mary Gibbs Center. We will want to have time to see the headwaters of the Mississippi (and walk across!) and see the beautiful sites.
2:00 Lake Itasca Boat Tour RSVP. Approx 1 hour 45 mins long – Narrated History and Wildlife Tour
6:00 Walking Tacos + Potluck back at campsite – bring your favorite side or dessert
