Nestled in Bluff Country, on the Root River in scenic SE, MN between Preston and Lanesboro. The Old Barn Resort, with its natural beauty and abundant wildlife, is the perfect setting for making lasting memories with family and friends.
A great venue in SE MN, there's plenty of places to visit including tours of nearby Amish farms.

We are registered in campground also. lt will be great seeing everyone at the rally. Don't forget your bikes as the Root River Trail is right there. Its a really nice paved trail that follows the Root River. Very nice for hiking too. Also the in the area Amish families that sell there crafts etc. are around there

Carol and I will be attending. We will arrive on September 4th and depart on September 11th.

Dan and I regret that we will not be attending the MINNESOTA Rally this year due to Dan's health issues. He will be going in for a total right hip replacement.
There will be another total hip replacement after the right hip is healed. We will miss everyone and will be thinking of all the fun everyone is having. Thank You Tom and Kathy , Have a great time/

Wow! It's looking like it'll be a great group at the MN Rally! So happy so many of our friends are coming! It'll be great to see all again!

We're working on a final rally agenda(hopefully final) and will be posting that soon! 2 things to add to your schedule.

1)
The old Barn Resort has a restaurant that is popular in the area. There is often reservations needed and a waiting list. For groups larger than 15, we did reserve their gathering room for Friday 8th, we have a room reserved for supper from 5:00-9:00 pm. We will start ordering about 5:30 and then meal should arrive about 6:00.
Because it's a group over 15 there's a separate menu.
Menu is choice of:
Pork
Beef
Chicken

Sides of Cole Slaw and Beans
Water, pop, tea, coffee included
$15 +tax

2)
Sat. night potluck is soup/chili (about 10 rigs at present).
Bring your favorite soup/chili to dazzle us all!
Salad, Bread, Coffee (bring your own coffee cup) and water will be provided along with table settings including bowls, silverware.
BYOB.... there are wineries in the area!
(at other soup/chili potlucks, people bring a muffin tin for "sampling"..... just an idea)
Right now there are 10 rigs registered and hopefully we'll have more join us.
