Brake assembly on the trailer I take it?

How many brake assemblies are there on a 3 axle trailer like a RW427?

We were getting that warning on our 2013 F350. It ended up being a wiring issue in the brake assembly causing the short. Had the whole assembly replaced last week. So far, so good!

How many brake assemblies are there on a 3 axle trailer like a RW427?

Yes, on the trailer. There is one assembly per wheel, so you would have 6. The service tech pulled each wheel and checked the wiring and brake assembly on each. We basically had the same issue as Cookie below. The wire came unclipped on the brake plate, rubbing the hub which then rubbed the covering off the wire which then caused a short to the system.
