I recently purchased a 2009 3950 Cyclone with a number of problems I am working through. I have failed to find any information on the size of hose going from the tank to the fuel dispensing pump. The Graaco pump has a standard 3/4" hose with a lever handle at the end. The intake side of the pump has a galvanized reducing bell that drops all the way down from 1" to 3/8" fuel line hose. I assumed this was some poor engineering done by a previous owner. So, I dropped the tank and it appears there are only two discharge ports, both located on the top of the tank. One of them is for the generator and the other is for the fuel dispensing pump. I find it hard to believe the factory used a 3/8 intake house to supply a pump capable of using a 1" intake. I would appreciate knowing what size hose is being used on other fuel stations between the pump and the tank.
