Hi guys I am new the forum. We just purchased a one owner 2018 cyclone 4200HD. My question is about furnace operation. When I turn the main thermostat to furnace the a/c unit comes on, no furnace. Shouldn't the ac unit stay off and just the furnace operate? Thank you in advance for any help.

Make sure you have the fan set to "Auto", not High or Low. If you set it on high or low, then the AC unit fans will run along with the furnace. Also, there is only one thermostat which operates the furnace. In our Cyclone, that's the thermostat in the bedroom. In ours, the thermostats in the living area and garage only operate the air conditioners.
