Greenville, Sc?

Where do you stay when you're in Greenville, Sc? We have family in Greenville and Greer.

Paris Mt is out for the days we need it.
Ivy acres says 45 and older. We're not 45.

Wondering if there's a great park that I'm missing.

Thanks,
Alice

We'll be staying at Ivy Acres in September. I'd give them a call and ask about how strict they are on the 45 and older rule. Some places will be a bit more relaxed on their age limits as long as you don't have small children or teenagers with you.

Normally I would. But the point of us being there is for the fam to see the new RV. The fam includes 2 rambunctious little boys. :) I might give them a call anyway. The boys won't be there the entire time. Just a visit or two.

I would rather RV parks state "adult" or "mature" than specify an age. Just because we're in our early thirties doesn't mean we're loud or have kids. We want a quiet park. It's like reverse ageism. :\

I agree whole-heartedly! We are 46 & 48 and I had a VERY hard time finding parks in South Texas and Phoenix that weren't 55 or older! We are quiet, clean people and most of the time get along better with those 55 and older rather than those our age or younger!

Those of us in our early 60's don't want any of you noisy, rambuncuous, energetic 40 somethings around spoiling our afternoon siestas!!! (just kidding, of course)

Thanks for the heads up. We'll be hitting Texas this winter.

Where do you plan to be in Texas? Keep in mind that places fill up VERY quickly for the winter.

We stay at the Spartanburg/Gaffney KOA http://koa.com/campgrounds/spartanburg/snapshot. Nothing fancy but does have a swimming pool and a dog run. If your family lives in Greer it's not that bad of a drive up I-85. Would not stay at Spartanburg Cunningham park! It's an old KOA that is real run down.

might wanna take a look at Pine Ridge Campground in Roebuck, we spent a month there, its rather deceiving going in but very nice place and the owners are exceptional.
