I am getting ready to buy a new bighorn. I have seen some I like at Holman RV in Ohio. I'm also looking at a unit in Sacramento, CA at RV's of Sacramento. Any feedback regarding either of these dealers will be appreiciated.

We bought our Landmark at RVs of Sacramento. The sales manager, Ralph, was easy to work with.

Watch out for irritating upsales while signing paperwork, including high-priced extended warranty, clear-coating, and tire gimmicks.

Mixed feelings on service after the sale. Some warranty items were never resolved after 4 months. The ones that were resolved took several months if they had to go through Heartland. (Service manager's contact at HL had left the company several months previously, but service manager never pursued unanswered HL emails...) Adjustments that did not require HL approval were handled quickly and well.

How did the price of the dealer in Sacramento compare with Holman's? I live in the Bay Area and drove to Holman's in Ohio to pick up our new Cyclone because the difference in price was substantial.
Also, if you haven't already take a look at See Grins RV. They are a New Heartland dealer. I drove by there today and it looks like they are well stocked.

Good luck!
