Help with Pictures

Can someone help me with resizing pictures? The site won't let me post pictures saying they are too large and I'm not sure how to reduce the size.
I'm on Windows XP.

Yianni, click on the pix you want to resize.....then right click and it should have a place to reset the size...800X600...or medium works the best. Bob

Get a program called Picasa. It will let you export pictures to any size, and it's free compliments of google.

There are a lot of ways to resize pictures. Over the years of working with computers here are a couple I use.

Here is a program called Irfanview that I use to view pictures and resize them.

If I have to resize a lot of photos at one time I use VSO Resizer.

Be careful using VSO Resizer. You can over write your originals if you don't pay attention to the settings. This one also keeps asking you if you want to purchase the software, but it still works great.

If you are only doing a few at a time you can you use MS Office and picture manager.

Thanks everyone, I was able to resize.
Now how do I ad them to a post so it appears as a clickable thumbnail instead of a link?

Yianni, use the "Post Reply" button and then click on the paper clip (attachments) then click on the "Browse" button, find your picture and hit "Upload". Then submit reply.....It might work. If there will be more than one pic, hit the browse button again before you upload.
