Hot water issue

Can't get continuous hot water in shower when pump shuts on and off water it get cold then hot ,more cold than hot any suggestions on how to fix this problem

If you have an outside shower, make sure that both the hot and cold faucets are turned off there.
Another thing to note is that if someone uses water in the kitchen or elsewhere cold water in the shower will happen.

Also, if you are just getting luke warm water, you might check the water heater bypass valve to see if it is closed.

It should be in front of your water heater and looks like this:
(note the vertical blue & red pipe with a valve in the middle)
