We are new to the rv world so this may be a dumb question but, will the holding tank 2 automaticaly start filling up when tank 1 is full? We have a 2010 elkridge.

Re: Holding tanks

If you are talking about the grey tanks one grey tank if for the bathroom sink and shower and the other tank is for the galley (kitchen). The black tank is for the toilet. So I guess the answer to your question is no it will not auto switch. There is a way to 'equalize' them and that is by opening both grey tanks up and keeping the main drain closed. Then the water will flow from the fuller one and they both will end up with about the same in them. This is manually done not automatically.

JKS,

Welcome to the forum! Good to see another Texan and another ElkRidge owner! Hope you stick around and visit here, also consider coming to the upcoming Rallies in the area. Click on the portal home page, and you'll see the list on the far right.
