How do you charge the Lippert remote

Our link wireless touch screen remote comes on then shuts off, like the battery may be dead. Don't see a battery compartment on the back, but it does have a mini usb port on the bottom. Is this how you charge the battery, and should a charger have come with the unit???

You should have a charger included with the unit. Possibly in your owners paperwork or look in drawers and cupboards.

Dealer handed us the remote and told us how it worked, but didn't mention charger. We've searched everything and can't find it. Heartland is sending one out to us.

If it uses the mini-USB port for charging, you can probably charge it with a phone charger, or a Kindle charger or most any charger with mini-USB.

I suspect that may be true. However the CSR didn't know the voltage requirement, and I couldn't find anything on it either. Some of the newer smart phones use a higher voltage. I've got a box full of chargers left over from phones, etc, as welll as a universal charger. Anyone know the correct voltage???

Jbeletti is rights. All USB is a standard 5VDC. You might be thinking of tablets that charge at higher current. 2.1A instead of 1.2A. Almost twice the current draw. If the USB cable fits it should charge your remote.
