How to Set Up Backup Camera

We just purchased a 2021 Lithium 2414. It has a backup camera installed but we have no idea how to set it up for use. There was little Heartland paperwork that came with the unit. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks!

It depends on how the camera was wired.
If hooked to the clearance lights, your tow vehicle must be hooked up and the lights turned on.
If hooked directly to the RV batteries, you should be able to see a little blue light on the camera.
If it is hooked directly to the batteries, whoever installed it, may not had installed a fuse in the power lead.

Being used RV, when was the camera installed? Was it installed when purchased new, or did you have it installed?

After you figure out how the power gets to the camera, plug the camera into the tow vehicle and turn on.

Thank you for your information. It was installed before we bought it. Not sure if it was factory installed or purchased by the previous owner.

Okay, now find out how it is wired for power. If it is wired to the clearance lights or directly to the batteries.
Hook up the tow vehicle and turn the lights on, do not turn the lights to "auto", but turn them "on".
