Not sure about camping on LBJ. My brother has a couple of rent houses on the lake. The Pencil House is well known for its pencil colored carved tree limbs. We want to camp at Inks Lake State Park. No,far away, and the upper lake to LBJ. Lake Marble Falls has an RV park at Hwy. 281 and Lake Marble Falls.

Fredricksburg RV Park was nice, we also stayed at Quiet Cove in Fredricksburg over Christmas break.

Have fun!

We spent a week on Lake LBJ near Marble Falls a few years back . . . in a hotel, though.

We really liked the area and plan to go back with the Prowler in tow one day!

Watch out in Blanco . . . speed trap (cost me $200 to find that out).

Did that 'burg in our 'vette. Fredericksburg is a neat little town. The National Museum of the Pacific War is a shocker because it's smack dab in the middle of Texas. Turns out Admiral Nimitz was from there. Also some neat wineries in the area. We're planning to re-visit in the Bighorn on our way to Big Bend NP, so we'll be following this thread.

We're at the Inks Lake State park for another week. This is a great park and our fifth year to host here.
