You need to find the stud in the wall and if you can hit that, you should be OK.......You have to make sure that you are hitting something solid and not just the wall board.....Mike C
I mounted one in the bed room, behind the wall was a closet, i pulled the panel in the closet back just enough to get a 2x4 x24 " in & then bolted through it. Works great an solid.

We have installed a desk mount on top of the DVD/radio player works great - I will post some pictures - it is 22" LCD by Insignia TV. I mounted a quick release bracket to remove it for travel. Manufacturer has stated that walls are not strong enough to support a wall mount bracket - 2x2 hollow aluminum studs in walls do not hold much weight.
