Natural CNG conversion kits for diesels

Interesting modification. The article reference to fuel milage doesn't state exactly what they are measuring.
Is that 38 MPG diesel only or diesel/CNG?

The article I read says it's diesel MPG, they didn't measure the CNG

One of the wildlife refuges that we worked at had a pickup with the gasoline/CNG conversions. They stopped using the CNG because it didn't get any more mileage than the gas engine and the CNG fuel is very hard to find. That has been a couple of years ago and the fuel may be more readily available now.

CNG price is going to rise rapidly. Already has jumped.

Last January Amerigas bulk propane fill for large tanks was $1.65/gallon in Colorado. This January it was $2.35. February price is $5.50.

I think CNG works best on fleets where the company installs the fill station and all vehicles fill up at the company location.
