Howdy all from just North of Dallas,TX. We just signed the paperwork today on our new rig and found this site last night. With all our other rigs we never found such a community as we have found here and are excited to join and share.
We are new to the Heartland family but not at all new to camping or as some would call it luxury living on wheels. We have been married for going on 23 years and both were raised going camping. We started with years of tent camping, 1st setup with wheels was a Coleman pop-up, then onto a Forest River Salem, next a Carriage Cameo, then to a Redwood and now to this. This unit gives us the best of all worlds, room for guests, our kids, eventual grandkids, toys, luxury, etc.
We found the unit we wanted this weekend at the Fort Worth RV show. We were very impressed with the unit and the factory rep. Before asking about buying the unit we asked if something new was going to come out shortly and that is when he told us about what they are calling the 2014 1/2 - 4100 King with all LED lighting inside, stainless appliances, etc. and said they had just delivered several to Explore USA, whom we had bought all of our rigs from.
Sooooo, that's the basics of who we are, how we got here, what we bought and why and we look forward to years of sharing stories and information and thanks to those that support such a wonderful site.
