New owner -used 2014 Gateway 3300ML - issues

Alright so I will list them below:
The furnace has managed to kick on twice since I have tried to get it working, once right when I selected "furnace" on the thermostat, and then once randomly the next day. All fuses are good, I can hear the click in the roof near the rear A/C unit, just no blower or anything. The stove works fine so no air in the lines. Any help would be great.

Next.... The electronic fireplace works wonders but I have a remote that will not work, looks like previous owner left batteries in there way too long. Is there a way to get a new one? And how? It's a pain to not be able to use the auto function on it! Pic below of remote and unit.

Next I have a switch that I have no clue what it does. The light comes on when I flip it up and has three wires coming off the back. Pic below.

Any other pointers I could get for stabilizing this big sucker would be great, it doesn't have auto level and we did add a king pin stabilizer. It helped but feels wobbly left to right.

Hi Tyler,

When the thermostat calls for heat, it activates a relay in the ceiling. That sends 12V DC to the furnace control board which should start the blower motor. After the blower motor gets up to speed (25 seconds), there is the first of 3 ignition attempts.

Since you hear the relay click, but there's no blower motor sound, I would think that either 12V DC is not getting to the furnace control board, or there are loose wires, or the board is failing. If you're handy, I'd suggest removing the exterior cover to the furnace (should slide off the exhaust tubes) and inspecting the connections to the board. On a horizontal installation, the board is probably on the left side. If you can get to the wires coming to the furnace, that are joined in wire nuts, check that you have good contacts. If everything looks ok, it's probably the board.

The mystery switch that illuminates: if you don't see a different switch for the water heater propane operation, it might be that. Or it might be for the Yeti package - to turn on the heat tape that could be on your fresh water tank feed line to the water pump. It might also turn on tank heating pads.

Yes, that switch does look like our Yeti package switch also.

Do you also have a full size 120V switch.... possibly is red lit when turned on?

Try some distilled vinegar on the connection between the batteries and the connection.

Thanks all for the help. I am out of town for the next two weeks and my fiance will be in the camper. Will try to look more into the furnace when I get back to the RV. And I will look more into the mystery switch as well.

Any ideas on the remote for the electric fireplace?

Where is the model number? Do I have to remove the 4 boots from the back of it?

Likely somewhere on the fireplace - not necessarily on the front. Do you have the manual for the fireplace? It would probably have the model # and might have the Part No. for the remote.

Have you tried to clean up the contact for the batteries. If not, most often I'm successful in restoring a remote with distilled vinegar and a tooth brush. Just like cleaning up the battery post.

I noted the button on the fireplace front cycles through functions including Auto.

After cleaning corrosion you can try some contact cleaner like De Oxit. It will restore connections.
