New rig & first trip!

Picked up our new rig, Big Country 3965 DSS on Nov. 19th from Wilkins RV in Bath, NY and what weather we arrived to! Light snow that night and 25-30 mph winds for the next three days! Winds gusted to 50-60 mph making it almost blizzard conditions! Left Wilkins facilities after four nights (thanks Wilkins for the hospitality and daily propane refills!) and the day before Thanksgiving for a haul home to Maryland. Now we are in Asheville, NC celebrate my big 60th B-day (Dec. 21st) and to experience the Biltmore Mansion at Christmas! We are staying at Bear Creek Campground just a couple miles from Biltmore. Safe travels and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all you Heartlanders!

Safe travels and Merry Christmas !! Biltmore is awesome. We were there the day after they set up the huge tree in the main hall.

Congrats on the new unit!

Biltmore is great. Especially at Christmas. One year I tried counting all the Christmas trees inside. I lost count. It was A LOT!
