Well , I took a gamble and survived 8K miles with TowMax tires:)
Never had an issue but always a worry.
Today I got 4 new Sailuns installed .
What a differance between the two tires , size and weight , they look like semi tires.

The new tires look great. What size and load rating are the new Sailuns's? Did the new tire reduce the clearance between them any? Hope you have many trouble free miles with you New Shoes!

Replace (often forgotten) your spare tire as well . . .

Do Not trust the BlowMax tire for that job description!

I know it is easy and convienient to think that the BlowMax will be good as a spare tire . . .

But think about it . . .

Would you trust a tire to be a spare tire that you don't even trust to have on your trailer to go to a camp ground 5-miles away from your home?????

Do like I did . . . replace all five tires!

Saving $100 now will not help you when you have a roadside repair bill of $400.00+!

There is a small reduction between tires, but my adjustable wheel locks still work
The size is a bit larger than the TowMax . The new ones are 235/85R/16
They are speed rated L , 75 mph , they are 14 ply , more than enough and all around heavier than the TowMax

Never rely on random internet postings . . .

Get rid of them all (BlowMax's) . . .

X2 on spare.......You are not going to find that Sailun just anywhere, so if you blow one, you will be limping on an unreliable tire, without a spare. Just bad news all the way around.
