New to Heartland

The wife and I purchased a left over 3355RL, 2011 model Big Country........so far things are looking OK. We plan on going back on the road in the near future and wanted a newer rig. Traded in a 2000 ALFA 31RL that we've owned since new, so we're not really newbies to RVing, but are new to Heartland.
William (Bill) and Kathy, originally out of the wet side of WA, but we've been living in Arizona for the past 6 years and are getting itchy feet so it's time to move on to greener pastures, literally speaking:D:D
Just taking a quick look at the Owners Forum it looks like there is a lot of good information from the folks here and we are definitely going to be taking advantage of your knowledge and experiences with the Heartland model.

Congrats Bill!

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum.

Consider joining the club and hitting some rallies. In fact, you NEED to join us in Gillette, WY this June. We have sites still available.

Moderator, I'm not sure if this is a double post or not...if it is please delete one of them:)

Thanks for the welcomes. Our next bit of a chore is to take the BC over to the scales, now that the boss has most of her "stuff" in place I want to scale the rig to see what the numbers are. Our current tow vehicle is a 2003 Dodge 3500 SRW Cummins Diesel equipped with the DB exhaust brake, Air Lift air bags, Diesel Dynamics TT Power Module.. to help it along
:D, BD X-Monitor to ensure the temps stay within parameters and the BD Autoloc Control Kit for the transmission. Sure hope I don't have to replace the truck, I got it right where I want it:D

Bill and Kathy,

Welcome to the Family - as you have already recognized, there are a lot of folks here who have years of experience both with Heartland products and SOB (Some Other Brand). Hope to see you at a rally or two if you find your self in the NE corner of this great country.
