no water to HWH

Today I changed the check valve on my WH. Now, I can't get water to flow to the tank. Previously, we could before check valve replacement. I installed the valve both ways.

If the only thing that changed is the check valve then perhaps it was installed backward.
Water only flows in one direction through that valve.

The water should flow out of the tank through the valve. When you were trying to put water into the tank, did you open the pressure relief valve on the outside of the tank? If you remove the check valve, try manually operating it to make sure it does function.

Did you move the bypass valves?

Check valve, by pass valve ug........I've had enough. Tech from the repair shop has where I work is scheduled to make a service call next week. Thanks to everyone and have a great and safe holiday weekend.
