Outside Shower Leak

We are getting a small amount of water that appears on the bottom of the UDC. This is not a great problem, but we put a piece of cardboard with a slit in it to seal the hole that the city water hose and satellite cable come through, and it gets wet. When we open the door of the shower, there is water in the bottom of the assembly. It looks like it might be coming from a very small white hose that is between the two faucet handles. Our guess is that the assembly is defective, but would like to know if anyone else has experience this to verify.

Time to contact your dealer !! Or if that isn't possible... Heartland Customer Service. One of those will be able to line up a replacement if the part is defective.

As for the UDC.... might want to look for one of those kneeling pads... you can locate them in the garden center. They make a good seal for the large hole in the bottom of the UDC... and you can slice a slot... with a hole the size of the water hose... This will seal up the opening nicely.

For the UDC gasket, go to someplace like JoAnn Fabrics and get a two-inch thick piece of soft foam. I looked in the cut-off bin and found a piece big enough to cut several from for about $8.00. Cut it oversize diameter by about an inch and it fits right in.
