Very little, maybe 0.1 amps at most.

I agree.
Went to the Winegard site, and could find no reference to current draw from the amp. The only limitation was the 8 amps max draw on the cigarette lighter connector.
The "idle" draw on these things is usually something like 100 miliamps. S, the power usage should be almost nothing.

So you're saying that the draw is only about 1.2 watts? Really?
If that's the case, then I need to continue trying to hunt down the problem with my solar system (see my other thread here).
How about the propane detector? Or, for that matter the converter itself?
