Recommendation for Crater Lake, Or

We would like to see Crater Lake on the way home from Tacoma. Does anyone have a recommendation for a place you liked there either rv park or campground?

there's a beautiful RV campground with hookups less than 1/2 hour from Crater Lake, you can't go wrong there! Check out Diamond Lake RV Park.

I have never been there but when I looked it up on RV Park Reviews and both are rated pretty good. Diamond Lake

Both have good ratings. I would look at Diamond Lake RV Park.

There are a couple of RV Parks off 62 if you go west then south to Prospect and
Phoenix.

We stayed at Prospect RV park/Crater Lake RV Park this year, the park is Beautiful, but the manager is a bit odd and the check in process took literally 30min, but it is very close to Crater Lake and has full hookups.

We stayed at Prospect RV park/Crater Lake RV Park last year and the manager is more than a little odd, he was down right rude and nasty. I will never stay there again, but my kids did stay at Diamond Lake and said it was great.

Here is the link for http://www.diamondlakervpark.com/index.htm. It is a good place, but you will need reservations during the summer. We have spent several weekends there and one whole week which was very pretty and peaceful.
