Roof Coating?

I think "no way" my friend. It states it has an asphalt base material. That would be a no no for a rubber roof. The best thing for our rubber roof is Dawn or Comet or the stuff available at RV dealers. If the roof is clean and white it will reflect heat just fine.

Coating

We live in Tucson. My last 5th wheel and the class A before that, I coated the rubber roof with a product made here in Tucson that is used on flat roofs. I also have it on our house. It is a pure white product as opposed to aluminum color. The factory said there would be no problem with using on a rubber roof BUT, they would not guarantee because their product was manufactured for homes. Worked GREAT. We could really tell the difference in cooling. Plus the roof was bright white and cleaned great. The product is called Solar Tec.

I wouldn't consider using it...

The Over-View states:

A commercial grade reflective roof coating designed for the recreational vehicle market. It contains a high quality leafing grade aluminum pigment in a fibrated asphalt base. Reduces interior temperature by 25% over black surfaces

That to me said it's a petroleum base product... That I would be worried about using. It would work fine on the old RV Roofs made with Aluminum roof material. In my view.
