We use the Winegard automatic on the roof, most days. We do however, still carry a dish and tripod, so we can camp "in the trees" when necessary and still have satellite.
Kinda wish they'd had they Vucube when we bought our dish...may have gone with that instead...seems to be the best of both worlds, except for worrying about theft. No one is going to steal a cheap dish...
As for connections, they make a Vucube with two satellite connections...that's what we just hooked up for Arlene and Kevin (hopefull, on the forum)...
