We have a 2007 Bighorn and need to replace the two skylights in the bedroom and bathroom. Both of these have exhaust fans. We went to a Camping World yesterday, but didn't know we needed to know the correct hinge type, and had not taken the RV with us. None of the types they had allowed for the attachment for the skylight to be raised. It appears that the current lift is riveted into the lid. Do we have to order this type online? And, how difficult is it to replace? We don't need the fan operation, only the cover. We will need to replace one of the fan blades because it has deteriorated, but we found that without difficulty. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

These lids are easy to come by. Any RV store should have them. Remove the handle and screws that hold the screen on. Then remove the lid and take it with you. Some lids like our 07 slide out of the hinge. They have metal tabs on each end. Gentle bent them and slide the lid out. Viola, you have done it.
