Is there some service that I can do to the mechanism that runs the slides in and out? Like grease and oil ?

Look for a spray on dry lube specially made for slide outs. Camping world is your best bet or your dealership.

Stay with a dry lubricant on gear rack or cable. Use a dry spray silicone lube on cylinder rods if they ate out over a week. This prevents surface rust from starting on the exposed rods. If less than a week, nothing is needed on the rods.
