I gave ordered slide toppers for our new 4010RD Big Country. I wanted to install them ourselves because we weren't happy with the topper installation that the dealer did on our last BC. When reading the Dometic installation instructions, they want the awning rail mounted 5-7 inches above the centre line of the awning bracket. Does Heartland install a wall brace in the wall for the awning rails to screw into? If so, does anyone know the location or have measurements?
