We arrived home yesterday after a great trip to Maine and Southern Vermont. Our NT pulled very easily with the F150 and was a comfortable place to be for 15 nights out. The itinerary included Rockport, Bar Harbor and Eastport, Maine, and Brattleboro, Vermont. We stayed at Megunticook RV Resort in Rockport and the campground was very nice with lots of trees and immaculate bathhouses. The grounds were kept very clean and neat as well. Highly recommend this place. In Bar Harbor, we stayed at the KOA and had a waterfront site with electric and water. The tide is around 12 feet and it was fun watching the tidal change. The sites are small but the campground is clean and neat including the bathhouses. This KOA has a nightly lobster dinner and of course, we had to have some.

In Eastport, Maine, we stayed at Seaview and had a wonderful view of Passamaquoddy Bay. Eastport is the easternmost "city" in the US and there are no fast food places there or in Lubec, Maine. Again the campground was clean as can be and run by very nice folks. We did drive to Campobello Island which was very interesting. Lots of fog up there and very few service stations. We were glad for the 36 gallon tank on the F150. LOL

If you like chocolate, Lubec has Monica's Chocolates. YUM! They are all homemade and some are residing in the fridge now!

Our first stop in Brattleboro, Vermont, was at the KOA. Very, very nice campground! There was a vintage camper show which we could tour. It was great to talk to the owners and learn about their campers. Our second stay in Brattleboro, on the way home, was at Hidden Acres. Nice folks running the place but one of the bathhouses needs a good cleaning. Thank goodness for FHU!

This was our big trip of year and a great success. Now it's time to unpack and clean the NT.

Sounds like a great trip, we have never been to that part of the country. Your report has me thinking?
By the way what is FHU?
