Even in the brief time we've been around 5vers there seem to be lots of discussion around tires and wheels. I think we'll all be interested in the results of this poll. I'm trying to create it in a non-controversial way...as Sergeant Friday would say...."just the facts".

You can vote for more than one category but carefully read each item and you'll find you can't really vote for all of them.

Thanks

I answered the poll considering the Heartland RV product I own now.
With the previous trailer, I had many blowout. So not reflected in my poll answers

You had a place for flats and blowouts but alot of people caught the tires going bad before before they blew. I found 2 missions with bulging tread and got them off before they blew.

yes...less than perfect poll...my first :). but interesting results anyway...half of those responding have original tires on their rig and half have never had a blowout or flat.

The next camper will have the "wheel/tire" delete option. I will supply the wheels along with the tires, and they will not be small.

We had one flat while in storage. Replaced that tire with a Maxxis M8008. Much better tire all around. Next month noticed another one of the Mission tires was flat. Replaced that tire with another Maxxis, and decided to do comprehensive check on all tires. Noticed 2 of the remaing 4 had bulging in spots, and a few missing chunks in others. Replaced the remaining 4 at that time with Maxxis. The trailer was only 2 years old at that time. We have had no problems since, but I am really looking at upgrading to 16" wheels sometime in the future.
