I just purchased a 2008 28BHS and store the trailer remotely. I want to get the biggest flat screen TV which will fit on the overhead shelf above the dinette. I measured it and my recollection is 15 1/2" is the approximate measurement, but I am finding many 19" LCD TV's are slightly taller than that (with stand). What is the exact measurement (assuming no build variations)?
I don't have my trailer to measure either but I have my TV stored in the basement for the winter.
My TV is 15 1/2" tall and I know it JUST fits on the shelf. In fact I have to tilt it to get it over the front lip of the shelf. Hope that helps. It is a 19" LCD.
A larger screen may fit but not on the base it would most likely come with.

I measured mine when I first got it. I have:
TV Shelf
Short Side – 13
Long Side – 28
Width – 19½
Height - 15½
Diagonally - 25
I have a little 13" that I use but I plan to mount a nice LCD above the bar. Check out the pics and the forum:

I did this in my 28BHS.
We use the TV shelf for bread and chips. This location of the TV allows for better viewing from the "master" bed and the sofa. It just works better for us. We added a plug back in the bunk area for the kids to plug up their mobile DVD players.
