Visio tv

I am unable to find Visio on the program to control the tv from the direct tv remote control. The Visio brand is not listed. Anyone have a suggestion? Tired of having to use two remotes.

Try calling direct tv, sometimes they may have another code that will work or a master controller is about all I can think of.

When they programmed our Visio TV they had to use Samsung codes.

You can go through the generic programming method. Look in the instruction manual for the receiver, you basically try every code in the remote until you find on that works.

Ironically, all four of our HDTV's (2 in the house, 2 in the RV) are all Vizio's!

We have Direct TV at our house, but not in the RV . . .

But in the house we have to push the power button twice to activate both of our Vizio HDTV's . . . and our JVC, Magnavox and Admiral non-HDTV TV's to turn them on when using the Direct TV remote controls.
