Watts 263A-LF pressure steadily rising

I got a Watts 263A-LF this past March. Went all stainless, oil filled, etc. Have it housed in the UDC and directly connected to the outside city water intake.

I have it set at 57 psi, but whenever I get to a park where the psi is naturally higher, I notice that the regulator begins to slow start rising.

I've contacted The RV Water Filter Store where I purchased it see if they could be of any help.

Anyone else had this problem? If so, what to do?

Thanks as always in advance.

The gauge will show the static pressure, untll the water is flowing then it should show your set pressure

Jnbhobe: the problem is it's not holding the set pressure.

No. I release the pressure by running water. When I shut it off the gauge goes to my set pressure. THEN it begins rising.

I had the same issue with a Watts 263. I received some advice from RV filter--asking if I had an air gap in my water heater as this will sometimes backfeed to the pressure regulator. then was ask to clean it repeatedly---long story sent it back to them and they could not find anything wrong. I then was ask, when not running any water can I adjust it up and down (without running water it should not be able to adjust downward), but i could on mine--WATTs agreed to replace it. The one I have now does rise some, but no where near what the other did.
I would ask for a replacement.

Talked to Richard from the water filter store. Was very helpful. Sent a .pdf file that is very informative on how to clean and maintain the filter. I'll try to attach it to this note for others to use.
